Grace Bible Chapel began in the late 1960's as a prayer meeting. It was attended by a small group of people who desired to commit their lives to Jesus Christ, study His Word, the Bible, and pray one for another. The people attending were from various backgrounds but the presence of God's love dissolved any problems. This love, and the miraculous answers to prayer began to draw others. From this foundation, growth continued with the desire to worship the Lord corporately as directed by the Holy Spirit in accordance with Scriptural principles. Grace Bible Chapel is comprised of people whose love for the Lord flows out to others with a genuine caring concern.

The flock of Grace Bible Chapel is pastored by the Elders, Daniel Bryant Terry Jacobs, Paul Kehner, Keith Lamb, and Rob McCutcheon. They are all available for pastoral responsibilities. Please feel free to call.

Eph. 5:18-19, And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Col. 3:16, Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Why Are Musical Instruments A Part Of The Worship Service

Psalm 150:3-5, Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.

Why Do We Have an Eldership Government

Believing that the New Testament emphasizes the responsibility of elders to feed and care for the flock of God, and that authority should accompany responsibility, the governing body of Grace Bible Chapel is a Board of Elders. Hebrews 13:17, Philemon 1:1, Titus 1:5, and 1 Peter 5:1-4.

Why Do We Have This Type Of Worship

1 Cor. 14:15, What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

John 4:23-24, But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

To make provision for your tithes and offerings, collection boxes are placed at the back of the sanctuary.
